About Havelock Pool and Spa

Havelock Pool and Spa is owned and operated by myself, Sue and my husband, Joe Faught. The doors were actually opened March 31, 2001. We are what you call a mom and pop operation. We have been in the pool and spa industry since 1987. If we don’t know the answer, we will get it for you.

 

When we opened the doors of Havelock Pool, we opened them with you, the customer, in mind. We are also consumers and we will treat you the way we want to be treated. Good service is one of our goals.

 

Joe is in charge of the service department and installs our above ground pools. He is very efficient and crafted at what he does.

 

We care about our customers. If a product does not work or we feel it is not a good product, we will not sell it in our store. We back our products 100%. We can’t carry everything that is available in the market because of space, but if it is out there, we can get it for you unless, the product has territorial rights by other pool companies. This does happen on occasion.

APSP – “The Association of Pool & Spa Professionals”

The APSP is the world's largest international trade association representing the swimming pool, spa, hot tub and recreational water industries. APSP is the leading industry advocate promoting professional best practices through education, industry standards, and safety.

 

APSP members adhere to a code of ethics in business and technical practices and share a strong commitment to the safe, healthful, and enjoyable use of industry products.

 

The APSP effectively replaced another well-known industry organization known as “National Pool and Spa Institute” or NSPI in 2006.

 

BBB – “Better Business Bureau”

The BBB is a private, non-profit organization whose mission is to promote and foster the highest ethical standards between companies and their customers in the areas of:

CPO® - Certified Pool Operator®

The Certified Pool/Spa Operator® certification program has delivered more training than any other program in the pool and spa industry since 1972, resulting in more than 200,000 successful CPO® certifications in 44 countries.

 

CPO® certification courses are designed to provide individuals with the basic knowledge, techniques, and skills of pool and spa operations. It covers 14-16 hours of information from the NSPF® Pool & Spa Operator™ Handbook (provided) and local codes taught by an NSPF® Instructor.

 

 

The CPO® program is widely accepted by health departments.

 

NAHB - National Association of homebuilders

NAHB is a trade association that helps promotes the policies that make housing a national priority. Since 1942, NAHB has been serving its members, the housing industry, and the public at large. NAHB's various groups analyze policy issues, work toward improving the housing finance system, and analyze and forecast economic and consumer trends. Each NAHB member belongs to a local home builders association.
